The Greiner Research Observatory  (GRO) has been named after R.A. Greiner, Ph.D.  Nicknamed Doc G, he has been a true inspiration to the field of astronomy for over 40 years. The GRO is a completely remote controlled observatory.  Full control, including opening the roof, can be achieved via Internet access.
